TASTING NOTES
Produced from Certified Heritage Vineyards planted between 1979 – 1984.
Pale golden hues precede expressive aromas of lemon zest, pineapple and yellow stone fruit, layered with subtle notes of vanilla, toasted almonds and a hint of butterscotch. The palate opens with a creamy entry, offering generous palate weight and a fleshy, textured mouthfeel. Well-integrated oak complements the fruit profile, revealing flavours of stone fruits, citrus and yellow apple. Balanced acidity provides brightness and lift, carrying through to a long, zesty finish filled with notes of lemon curd and baked apple pie. A complex and elegant expression of old-vine Chenin Blanc, displaying impressive depth and structure.

A blend of 60% Pinotage, 30% Cabernet Sauvignon, 5% Merlot and 5% Roobernet

TASTING NOTES
The wine displays a beautiful, dense deep crimson colour. The nose is layered and complex, offering evocative aromas of dark hedgerow fruits such as blueberry, bramble and boysenberry, complemented by notes of kirsch liqueur, ripe plums, sweet cinnamon spice, cloves, red fruits and subtle toffee notes. The palate opens with immaculate, finely grained ripe tannins that provide the perfect foil for the plush fruit spectrum. There is excellent follow-through from the nose, revealing flavours of red and black fruits, spice and fruit pastille sweets. The Pinotage component contributes a pretty red fruit charm, while Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot add classic herbaceous nuances and structured black fruit depth. Roobernet enhances the wine’s rich colour and depth. Judicious use of new oak offers superb support, seamlessly complementing the fruit, while balanced acidity carries all the elements through to a long, refined finish. Delicious, classy and elegant.

TASTING NOTES
Deep ruby-red hues, with concentrated aromas of mulberries, plums, bramble fruit, exotic spices and a hint of liquorice. The entry on the palate is rich, and the sturdy tannins add structure to support the plush fruit spectrum. Juicy flavours of blueberries, ripe plums and black cherries are underpinned by notes of roasted coffee beans. A savoury edge on the lengthy finish rounds off a delicious, big and bold wine.

TASTING NOTES
Inviting deep purple colour, with unmistakable Pinotage characteristics on the nose – plums, red berries, exotic spices and earthy beetroots. Oak-derived notes of coffee bean and vanilla add further interest. The palate is focused and precise, with a finely-grained, mouth-coating tannin structure and integrated new oak flavours. On the finish, the wine displays lengthy flavours of juicy, ripe plums and red fruits. A beautifully balanced, dense and rich style of Pinotage.

TASTING NOTES
Opaque crimson-red hue, with charming aromas of dark cherries, graphite, black pepper and fresh herbs, followed by an underlying savoury/umami tone. The palate is plush, with integrated new oak nuances and very fine, delicate tannins. An elegant and classically styled Cabernet Sauvignon with a satisfying balance between fruit and oak, and persistent flavours of buchu and blackcurrants on the finish.
