The Duke Pinotage 2023 is a bold and structured wine with rich fruit-driven qualities. Its deep ruby-red color sets the stage for a brooding nose that introduces subtle hints of oak spice and burnt toffee, followed by a robust fruit profile featuring blackberry, strawberry, stewed plums, and cranberry. The tannins are firm yet well-integrated with the juicy fruit core, contributing to its plush flavours of ripe strawberry, red cherries, plums, and a touch of earthiness. The finish is dry with lasting red fruit notes, elevated by refreshing acidity.
